No último Domingo... Last Sunday...

Estava a dar aulas de CMAS - P1 neste último Domingo (por isso não tenho fotos) e lá fui eu para o ilhéu da vila (lado oeste) com o André, a Anabela e o Nuno, era o último mergulho do curso e o ambiente era festivo, não estavamos com pressa e na conversa lá nos fomos equipando. Vamos pra baixo, a água estava a 20º C :P, e a visibilidade rondava uns escassos 25 metros :D até aqui nada demais certo? Pois, também acho, mas qual não é o meu espanto, quando passado pouco tempo passa à nossa frente o maior cardume de lírios que os meus olhos viram este ano, era uma autêntica parede!!! Além disso, era ver a quantidade de vejas que "limpavam" a pedra tal qual uma praga de gafanhotos sobre um campo de trigo... resumindo? Estamos em Dezembro, e mergulhar nos Açores continua a ser maravilhoso!

I was teaching CMAS 1 Start diver course this last Sunday, and so we went to the islet of Vila Franca, it was the last dive of the course for André, Anabela and Nuno. We weren't in a rush so we geared up slowly, we jumped in, the water was at 20º C, the visibility, short 25m :D, up to here nothing to much right? After a few minutes, passes on our front the largest school of Almaco Jack's that i saw this year, it almost seemed like a wall, beside that, the amount of parrot fish "cleaning" the rocks was so amazing that i can only compare it to grasshopers on a field of weat... the conclusion? It's December, and diving in the Azores is still a wonderfull thing!

desculpem a ausência, mas após as férias, fui para Lisboa fazer o curso de Instrutor PADI, agora estou de volta e em força... aqui vão os posts!!!

Após 3 semanas com o Espírito Azul, deixámos os bons amigos da Alemanha completamente tesos ;P Os Jacob's são os nossos novos recordistas em números de mergulhos (acreditem que foram muitos)

After being with us for 3 weeks, we were able to dry out all their money!!! The Jacob's are our new record holders in numbers of dives, and no i wont tell anyone how many they did, but it was ALOT!!!
